This Deal (i.e. the Samsung elevated Trade in Value promo) is only valid in store only. . .that means you have to order/purchase the new phone in store + trade in the old phone, in store, at order/purchase time (can't hold onto your old phone until store pickup on this deal).

Also, this Deal, i.e. the TIV Promo, is also good towards purchase of Galaxy S22 series phones, and S21FE as well!! You can get paid for trading in a used S21 for a new S21 FE How to get paid

In store, BB was prompted to take a deposit, which makes no sense, as they do not do that. Even after this "fix," I was unable to open a line for the extra $100 discount. I was, however, able to order the phone to be shipped to a store and it will be activated. Previously, when I placed the order, it was cancelled later that day, presumably because they could not activate it properly.

anyone got issue trading in a S21+? i tried this today at best buy and not sure why after you select s21+ it wont allow you to enter IMEI in their system. i am trying to trade in S21+ for $800 and get a S22+ with the active price of $749. So frustrating..

They need to do as separate transaction first for trade in and then buy S22.

Was able to trade Flip3 to Flip4. Without activation, price came out to $246.

The employee in the Samsung shirt was very knowledgeable, he had to get the right BBY employees who knew how to apply the promotion. Took about 20min total.

Its more of like, they don't want to do it. Like they are loosing money from their own pocket doing this trade-in.

First they ask you to visit the store by making in-store only deals and then they tell you, it can't be done. On top of it, there is no way to contact the local store to ask them if they are allowing these type of deals or not, but you have to drive there and ask.
