Just a heads up if buy this for a PS5, that a heatsink is highly recommended. I believe they can be had pretty cheap on Amazon.

People have reported the new cusomer discount doesn't work on the sale item.

But whether you get that discount or not, KC3000 is still a little cheaper than this one and the 176 layer NAND in the KC3000 gives better write speeds than this one.

It works on non sales item. The 1TB is not on sales at this time. Only the 2TB is on sales

Ah, good point. Then the Kingston for sure as long as it is available.

I would recommend the WD though for laptop use.
