YMMV as these stores and delivery are location dependent. Must have dashpass.

Doordash is currently running a promo for $50 off $69.99 via code 50FORSHIP. Granted things are simply overpriced but this one time event could net select items cheaper vs buying in store.

E.g. Carlos bakery looks to have the 6" rainbow cake for $40+tax and with doordash it comes out to be $25 including tax/shipping.

Best deal I found was Carlo's Bakery. If you order the cheapest thing on the site which is the 1lb butter cookies for 29.99, it allows you to add other items at a discount to get to the $69 total. I did the 8 slice sampler for $35 and 1 lb rainbow cookies for $15 for total of 79.95. With $50 discount, my total was 29.95 + 5.00 tax for total of 34.95.

If you order the 8 slice sampler, it's $74.95 by itself just FYI. I have ordered 8 slice cake in past. It's pretty good and everything comes frozen on dry ice and individually packed so you can freeze whatever you want to eat later.

Ordered from Melissa's and it's been stuck at shipment information sent to FedEx for a week now.

Does this promotion affect the sellers financially and that's why they stopped shipping? Or too many orders coming in and they can't keep up?

I called Doordash Monday morning to see if there was any delivery update and to see if we can delay this delivery to later in the week. They weren't able to do anything since it's already confirmed. After explaining that this was originally for a dinner party, the rep offered to credit me $34.99 to my Doordash account towards my next meal for all this trouble. The reps I've spoken with throughout this were nice and there's not much they can really do. I also asked for Pizzeria UNO's phone number, but it keeps saying line busy and disconnects.

I checked my status page last night and saw it finally shipped via FedEx for Wednesday delivery.

For all XCJ orders,
contact doordash team might be useless as my previous post, they know nothing and won't update even they said they would update 7 days ago.
so yesterday I emailed XCJ, showed them doordash email and order screenshot. Today I received their reply.
Here it is:
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. So sorry for the confusion on the status of your order! We're checking on a glitch here, either from our system or with Doordash. Our team is currently checking on this.
