Trox screw is far more ridge than phlips. I use trox wherever i can.

I feel it's neither good for screws nor for bits, so I got this set for $25 and it includes all the bits I need: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00TI7HZY0. The bits I use most are hex, star(torx) and female hex.

I've done that in a pinch, but really not worth the time and even minimal effort it takes when you can buy bit sets for $5-$7.
