Well good for you. This is a deal compared to current and available offerings. And I wanted another V8 because that's what I have and like and already have accessories for... and it's $100 cheaper than what you paid.

And if you got the 'Animal' version then I wonder if you got the fluffy head.

Probably because the deal was for a V10 not a V11. It was a year ago and he had a $100 off coupon code that no one else could get to work and the deal has never showed up again.

Thats how Walmart is shittier compared to Amazon, i myself have a few returns that i gave up on. Walmart sells stuff listed by private sellers but doesn't honor returns & makes one go back & deal with individual sellers & its a pain…

Agree 100%. Had three orders that all had strange circumstances (one even marked item as OOS then relisted at higher price!). Walmart did make them all right, but it took weeks. Really a joke and I always hold my breathe when ordering from the site.

Dyson makes their pricing purposefully hard to compare. If you start adding up the options you want instead of the options you need, it's easy to end up with a crazy $600+ configuration. I had "soft roller" (reviews show this is really necessary for picking up toddler food bits) and "non-refurbished" (due to battery life concerns) on my need list, so this seemed like an excellent deal.

Does anyone know if you can buy the anti-tangle head separately? If I get sick of hacking away at the vacuum with scissors, it would be extra nice to upgrade that in the future.

You can buy the LG hard floor roller for 100 off their site but man it's hard to spend that much on a plastic roller

It's new. Says it comes with "2 Year Dyson Official" warranty in the "Warranty" section.

Why not just take it to the store? It say yes for returnable to store.

Mine just came in. Got a new Dyson V8 Absolute box with another box containing an extra 2 tools and a nice carrying case, both packed in a tall brown shipping box.

UPDATE: Just registered at dyson.com and warranty is valid until August 2024.
