In TN the Publix rings bogo at 1/2 off for each of the 2 items. So the policy must vary by state.
I'm regular tap water. Drinks are sneaky calories, they really add up for your body and wallet.
My experience with bogos.
-In the past I've gotten rain checks if they were out. So I could buy outside of BOGO week.
-If they run out of say a 6 pack BOGO deal. Grab the 12 pack. Go to customer service directly and they will half it. Done it multiple times.
-Theres always multiple shelves of beers. Up to 4 different cold/room temp shelves. So don't fret if u don't find it right away
-Most publix's don't do rain checks anymore. But you can check with your local one.
-Also customer service is awesome. If you grab the last 6 pack. They'll charge you half. Just ask kindly at the CS desk. Not regular line.
*don't fall for "3 for $12" or "2 for $18"
They usually do this for higher marked items. These are the items that are discounted individually. Its a cute trick. You don't need to buy 3 for $12, get 2 for $6 etc....

For those not aware, Publix is king of the half price 6-packs. In addition to Sweetwater, in the last year, I've seen these brands at BOGO / half price: Lagunitas (last week), Terrapin, Kona, New Belgium, Victory, Golden Road, and Blue Moon. Usually all of the styles they have in stock of the sale brand are included.
Ads in SC start on Wednesday. May not be active until then.
Pretty sure this is the case for almost all consumer goods.
