Just three key things to remember on this deal
1- DO NOT replace your BYOD device within the 45 days of activation. If you break your phone and replace it, you lose the $500 rebate.
2- Likely you have to remain activated for 13 billing cycles as opposed to 12 since it's risky to port out to a different carrier exactly at 12 months. If you port out a day earlier, they'll charge the $500 to your Verizon account.
3- Visible is not an eligible carrier you can port from.

You can take advantage of the typical bill credit subsidies Verizon offers during the period following the 45 days mentioned above.
So we can't use like a Employee discount in for the 1st 45 days?

Does anyone know if we can jump on the occasional low price (non bill credit) deal Best buy has for Verizon after the initial 45 day period? Like the below Flip 3 deal

Getting "Case ID is null. Case ID is required to proceed further" trying to check out with an Apple unlocked iPhone 13 Pro. No adblock enabled (118 trackers, yay!).

Any ideas?

Edit: Verizon just hates Firefox. Worked fine in Chrome. But $500 is $42/month, and the cheapest plan for a single user to get mmWave is $90. Pass. Thanks OP.

Better than the AT&T $250 BYOD. AT&T divides a $250 bill credit over 24 months.
Well business wise, AT&T is smart to stretch out over 24 months. For this Verizon deal, it's been going on so long, some people do the 5 lines for a year, take 6 months off and go with Mint or some other cheap deal. Then after 6 months (Verizon considers you a new customer) go right back to this Verizon deal.

For 5 lines it's more or less free internet for a year plus their perks. When it was $650/line BYOD and there was some cash back, it was a money maker.

Are we sure you don't have to port a number to get this deal? Not a single port in number needed? Was in the OP. Do they require valid IMEI numbers? I can't remember.

So pay $2500 get $2500 back in e gift card? For a full year of service. Seems an OK deal unless you can double dip with other device discounts.

Looks like no port in required?
Eesh, $2500 covers just a single year? Crazy what people pay for these things.

You also aren't allowed to upgrade your phone for a full year. I asked customer service
That's false.

I upgraded the phone for 1 of the line and it is fine.

But I only recommend this deal only if you get 5 or more lines as Verizon is very expensive and the service is crap.

Same here, except tmobile is the faster one now on my area. I've recently tried all 3 and tmobile wins overall. Verizon 5g home internet is cheaper though so I switched to that recently, but tmobile hack for $10/month for unlimited internet can't be beat. See other thread
Link us for this $10 hack?

When did you do this? It says in their fine print you can't upgrade your phone for a year. A change that wasn't there a few months ago

What a horrible deal. With TMo I have 4 phone lines, 4 cellular watches and home internet for under $100 bucks per month. Of which my job pays $80.

"Device must remain active for 45 days" ... > You should NOT (MUST NOT to be exact :-) ) put the verizon sim card to a different phone for the first 45 days after activating the BYOD plans. If your phone happens to be broken during this period, you need to call customer service to get the OK for switching the device. After 45 days, you can switch phones with no issues... I have done this and switched phones before. Verizon can be very nasty if you switch phone within the first 45 days and later say 1 year you switch to a different cell phone provider. :-).

It's a small business. Not sure if many people still do that or not.

Agree, been with Verizon since mid-90s, service has never been as bad as it is now
I've been with VZW since the 90's as well. Ever since they bought Yahoo and became Oath, it's all just a "woke" company that forgot what customer service means.
Since they shut down the 3G network, cell service is spotty and choppy at best.
I run a few of the same routes and roads day in and day out, and I've never had so many dropped calls, no signal, etc. And this is on a 5G capable phone.
Oddly though, I have no cell signal in the cornfields by my daughters house, but my MiFi has 3 signal bars!
I can browse the internet but can't make or receive calls, lol
