Not at all. If this is a new install on an existing system, your leads will need to be tagged for what zone they are. Otherwise take a pic of your existing terminal block before you install and/or label the wires. Just make sure you have decent wifi at the site before buying.
I did installation couple of weeks ago, just took a picture of existing wiring and connected Rachio in same pins. Done in like 5 mins. Now no need to goto my basement every time to switch on and off. I never had a sprinkler in my home till now and had to do it my new house that I bought recently so all in all it's very easy to install.
