Not really a great deal. Between the overheating, weak wireless connectivity, and poor battery life I don't think it's worth this price. Google Tensor and Samsung Modem seems to work terribly together. You might as well get the 6a and save money for the same experience.

I have a regular pixel 6. The fingerprint reader sucks. And the connectivity issues are definitely there. But that doesn't happen enough for me to get two aggravated. But the fingerprint reader is just terrible.

I have one and this is the first phone that I've wanted to throw out a window.

The radio on the 6 pro i have is absolute dog shit, would still be on my pixel 4 xl if i hadn't cracked it in June. Probably going to ditch this phone come next release season.

I'm not a big fan of my P6 pro. The camera is awesome but the phone is very buggy and the battery is horrible.
Idk, but my battery is amazing. If I don't use it and keep it face down. The Phone drops like 1% in 10hrs. Lol
It's as good as my 13 pro max that I just sold.

I honestly hate my 6 Pro.. One of the worst phones I've ever owned. (I cracked the back glass and hope I can do the trade in/repair and ask for a different model phone)

My wife's Samsung A52 5G has better battery life, and usually has signal when mine doesn't..

I have to constantly reboot the dang thing just to restore cell service. Turning off cellular data, and back on won't fix it.. Only a reboot will..

Also, I've had issues with videos playing too fast, and audio cutting out from videos/music.. Always have to fix it with a reboot..

I probably reboot it at least 5 times a week.

Have you tried turning airplane mode on and off? My 6A has been pretty flawless except I've had to toggle airplane mode on and off twice once I left the house because my data wasn't loading anything. I'm pretty sure I still had bars and service. Immediately after toggling it on and off everything was working fine. You should try reaching out to Google support if the only solution is a reboot and you have to do it that often. I think you could RMA granted I don't know if that would fix your issues. A number of people claimed their replacement phones fixed their issues and others said nothing changed. I have a feeling they're going to knock the Pixel 7 out of the park though since it's using Tensor 2 and they had a year to figure out all the issues with Tensor 1 (which Pixel 6 runs) to get it to run smoothly / properly. It's also rumored to have a ceramic back so it'll run cooler than non-ceramic phones.

Well, I'll give that a try next time it happens.

The other issue, is the back glass has a crack in it now, so I'm sure google would blame it on damage (was happening before it).

For RMA, I think you would have to get the back fixed before you send it in (you'd have to ask Google to be sure). Your best bet might be a trade-in when the Pixel 7 comes out. I have a feeling a lot of unhappy Pixel 6 users are looking for a trade-in when the Pixel 7 comes out. They were offering between $366 to $400 for the Pixel 5 when the Pixel 6 came out. I think that's the best route honestly.

I will never buy another Google phone after my pixel 6 pro. First and last. The entire phone is a disappointment.

You're crazy if you buy any Pixel 6 series (6, 6 Pro, and 6a) phone for more than $300. These phones are buggy as hell.

I know you're lying. Because I have the phone. And it's a wide known thing that the pixel has horrible standby time. Its an awesome phone But it's nowhere near as good as standby time as iPhones. And why the heck did you have an iPhone 13 Pro Max and a pixel 6 Pro? You really need to figure out your life and not blow money on useless phones all the time.

Won't the 7 use Tensor?
on the Google website it said the "next-generation" so I'm assuming it's a Tensor 2 Plus I read on another side something about a new Samsung modem.

That's what happens when these engineers work from home, multitasking work, laundry, cooking, picking up kids and Amazon shopping. No wonder Google CEO is pissed.
This is very true.
I and all my friends and their spouses do the exact thing mentioned. It's so much out of the line when we were in office that I wonder who actually does productive work. In office it used to be a few small chats and breaks, but nothing like home.

Good phone but has a fragile screen. Feels hollow. Got one for my wife at launch and a month later she set it down on our coffee table and the screen basically popped, cracked straight across the entire phone. Replacement she dropped once and upper left is all black, few cracks but still usable. Both always in a case.
Not sure why the thumbs down. My girlfriend and I have each broken the Pixel 6 Pro screen twice each!!!

Both of us have broken it without it leaving our pocket once and the other times were legitimate reasons (drop on a hard floor for her and a JBL speaker fell on mine at work).

It is not durable AT ALL. Cases on phones during all breaks.
