Is this better than Apple Airport Time Capsule? My wife and I both work from home and I do software testing so there's often many devices connected. Lately our overall speed really seems to be suffering, and I know our router's starting to get pretty old - I'm not sure if this would be an upgrade or not - the throughput speed listed on the Airport specs is higher than on these? Do I need to wait for something with WiFi 6 to truly improve things, or is this one of those cases of "the specs don't tell the whole story"?

We've moved from a 600 sq ft apartment to a 2700 sq ft house, so at some point I'd like to improve coverage with mesh, but we're pretty close to the router now for most tasks, and I don't want to buy this system and then feel like I have to upgrade again in a year.

I can't say enough good things about this mesh system. It's $100 less now than it was several years ago because it's using the older AC standard, but it's still completely capable of delivering very fast internet throughout larger homes. I have 300mbps download from comcast and I get almost that speed throughout my entire house, which I could never say before switching from a single access point to a multi-access point mesh set up.

This is a steal at this price, even though it's technically a bit outdated.

Can I use just two of them and keep the third one as a reserve? If not, can I place two of them in the same room, like 10 feet away from each other?
