I strongly prefer ATX in modern motherboards as GPUs take up to 3 slots nowadays. If you wanted to add a pcie ax200 wifi or an additional NVMe drive on a PCI-E slot you're out of luck.

Not really. Most mini itx cases support raising your card. There are many ways to build a computer with the right parts

Used this in a build for my son with a 5600X CPU and 6600XT GPU. Made for a very nice gaming system. BIOS did not require update for the 5600X.
