I bought 2 of these and returned it. Both had a problem where it would keep connecting and disconnecting. Not sure why they keep peddling this garbage.

It only happened when I had multiple devices connected at the same time. It'd work fine if it was the only device plugged (regardless of cable used).

My problem with this is, it's causing some weird interference with touch device, like phone touch screen, or laptop touchpad. On phone touch screen, I'm not sure what's the actual term, but it's causing some phantom touches when you touch the screen, For example, if you pinch to zoon and hold it, the screen will jitter, as if there are more than 2 fingers touching randomly.
On laptop touchpad, it's causing some weird delay/interference that makes your mouse movement feel slow and delayed.

I've tried multiple cable, from OEM samsung superfast charging cable, to 100watt anker cables, to thunderbolt 3 cable.

I purchased this last time it was on sale. I've noticed that it will re-negotiate ALL connections whenever anything is plugged in or unplugged. I'm not sure if that's what you were seeing, but it is a behavior that I believe is as designed because of the varying amperage ratings depending on which ports are used. So far mine has worked well. Charged two phones, a smartwatch, and a Steam Deck at the same time just fine.

Have to follow the units guideline on how much each port gives out max when multiple ports are used. Obviously if it's cutting in and out its most likely not giving your device enough. Best way to know is with a meter.

Old apple watch x2. No where close to the limit. If I just charge 1x apple watch works perfectly tho.

Bad unit. I say common amongst the various chines brands that I've used before, even the single 65w.quality is hit or miss

mine one does this too, RMAing it now. I do not trust Monoprice for chargers anymore (and I have a sneaking suspicion they pay Slickdeals to have these posted because I see them posted every other day for the same f'n prices)

I read a review on Amazon for a similar 100W charger which said this type of behavior is especially annoying on something like an iPad. The iPad charges to 100%, then actually disconnects, the charger see this and negotiates charging, the iPad thinks it's just been unplugged and replugged and tries to charge, it's full so it disconnects and the cycle repeats over and over. The icing on the cake? The iPad chimes everytime it's plugged in. 😄
