I have one of these. Possibly a different brand but looks identical. Don't remember the price. May have gotten it on ebay?

After trying many spring or clamp type phone mounts, this was by far the best option. Very solid but folds very flat for travel. I use it with a gorilla pod mini.

Back then phones were pretty poor in low light. Probably not quite as necessary now unless you have a specific use case such as long expoures, stop action, etc.

This looks great, Any idea the best way to mount this to a smallrig camera cage? I sometimes want to attach my phone for videos while I do photos on my sony, and the cold-shoe mounted plastic phone holder was obnoxiously large and terrible.

Seems like it has a lot of gimmicky type features but for the price it's worth trying it out. Cheaper than their standard non-foldable mount with this deal and still all metal so it should do just fine I would assume.

Any Arca Swiss compatible head would do... Try looking at Sirui tripods.
