Had this phone for a little bit but had to get rid of it.

The touchscreen issues drove me insane (couldn't type/text properly as it would miss a whole bunch of letters).

They released a few software updates to try and mitigate the problem, but you can only do so much software tweaks to address a clearly hardware issue.

The renewed phones I've gotten from Amazon have been incredibly good deals because the phones feel practically new, not a sign of wear on most of them. Also they give you 90 days to return it

I still like my S20 FE two years later, but $280 seems a little high, no?

Well, it has SD 865, wireless charging, 5G, 128GB, IP68, and a decent camera. The Samsung A53 5G which is subpar compared is like $259 carrier locked so Seems like a good deal with the 1 year warranty.

Jumping through hoops of Fi offer will get you base S22 for about $100 more. Might be worth it to people.

What is woot's return policy? Never bought from them before. Is there a restocking fee within 30 days? I have Amazon prime membership.

Good phone, but check for ghost touche problem when you get it.

https://thedesk.net/2021/04/samsu...pril-2021/

I had an S20 FE, but the ghost touches were annoying. Samsung released software updates on trying to fix it, but it never fully fixed it for me. I got rid of it after a few months and got an S21.
The issue definitely exists, but personally it never bothered me in the ~20mo I had the phone. I'm not sure if severity varies by model, also I should note that I wasn't playing games (where I could see it being more of an issue).

It's a little high, but it was a decent phone. For reference, I got mine new for $350 from Costco on a VZW upgrade Nov 2020. I recently had a cracked screen and found out Samsung/ offerrin $450 trade-in even if cracked so I took advantage and moved to the S22 Ultra 256GB which I do like more, but is dramatically more expensive.

In for one. Thanks OP. Been searching for ages for a new phone to replace my old Xiaomi Redmi Note Pro 5 and wanted a decent mid-level Samsung for under $300. I have very poor signal reception in my basement studio apt and I'm thinking this will help rectify that problem. If worse comes to worse, I can enable wifi calling which my old Xiaomi doesn't support.

Had this phone, just traded it in for a pixel 6a. Constant problems with this phone, missed and un-sendable texts, inconsistent call making ability (probably had a bad antenna), ghost screen touches (lots of typos), glitchy GPS. I have had MANY android phones, and they often have some quirks, but this is the first one that I regularly wanted to throw at a wall.

And it was the last Samsung Galaxy S series phone that had SD card slot 😔

I got this for $250 new on Black Friday at Walmart. Was advertised as Straight Talk, but was actually GSM unlocked out of the box. Great little phone and gets lots of software updates.

I have purchased renewed from Woot before no issues, but this is a little better since it is Manufactured renewed either way easy returns if you have issues and a 1-year warranty with Samsung.
I did the Galaxy S20+ ebay refurbished over a year ago. Factory renewed like new with fresh battery and TWO year warranty (allstate). Very happy with it on Safelink Lifeline, UNLOCKED on VZW tracfone sim.. I had to have a big screen, 5G and wireless charging, checked all the boxes. $400ish was worth it and I'm not shopping for the next good cheap phone every year.

it's a little confusing, forgot mine has reverse pad charging and FM radio. You need USB C adapter for antennae, the one they sent in refurb didn't work. I still can't find the Samsung radio app. My S20+ is FAST with 4500 mah battery, 512GB storage, 12GB Ram, Snapdragon 865.

Those bugs were fixed over time. I've had mine since November and haven't had those problems.

I still have it sitting next to me (just set up the new phone a few days ago) all bugs still happening.

edit: just giving an anecdote about my phone. your phone still works fine, so you're probably not trading it in. My phone is hot garbage, so I am trading it in and it will get flipped around on one of these renewed deals to some other poor ba****d.
