Had this phone for a little bit but had to get rid of it.

The touchscreen issues drove me insane (couldn't type/text properly as it would miss a whole bunch of letters).

They released a few software updates to try and mitigate the problem, but you can only do so much software tweaks to address a clearly hardware issue.

The renewed phones I've gotten from Amazon have been incredibly good deals because the phones feel practically new, not a sign of wear on most of them. Also they give you 90 days to return it

I still like my S20 FE two years later, but $280 seems a little high, no?

It seems like an ok deal but the phone is a bit old with a low resolution HD screen not like older models which had higher pixel density. The screen does seem like an improvement over the annoying curved edges on some of the older phones in that regard, however.

Also, the charger isn't as good as Oneplus with faster charger. I'm gonna pass on it due to these factors.

Only getting Android 13 and then no more. I had one and it had ghost touch issues and call drops.

I have this exact phone and have been using it for 8 months or so. It's a good phone with a fairly decent camera and overall specs, but I'm hard pressed to say it's worth $300 in a refurb state. My daughter's OnePlus 8T at $199 was a better deal.

Had this phone, just traded it in for a pixel 6a. Constant problems with this phone, missed and un-sendable texts, inconsistent call making ability (probably had a bad antenna), ghost screen touches (lots of typos), glitchy GPS. I have had MANY android phones, and they often have some quirks, but this is the first one that I regularly wanted to throw at a wall.
I have a Pixel 6 and hate it. Was thinking of getting this one to try. Guess not.

I actually prefer a 1080p screen. It's not like you can tell the difference unless you're really looking, and it's saving battery.

Seems like a solid deal. $600 BestBuy trade in now toward the S22. Would leave an unlocked S22 at ~$380

And it was the last Samsung Galaxy S series phone that had SD card slot 😔
This was the major deciding factor in me buying this phone six months back.

Personally I love it as it's been my first flagship-esque android phone since the S3.

$600 trade-in is in-store only. I've done it twice now without issue. Just show them this link

The issue definitely exists, but personally it never bothered me in the ~20mo I had the phone. I'm not sure if severity varies by model, also I should note that I wasn't playing games (where I could see it being more of an issue).

It's a little high, but it was a decent phone. For reference, I got mine new for $350 from Costco on a VZW upgrade Nov 2020. I recently had a cracked screen and found out Samsung/ offerrin $450 trade-in even if cracked so I took advantage and moved to the S22 Ultra 256GB which I do like more, but is dramatically more expensive.
How bad was the cracked screen on your phone? Did samsung give you any push back on accepting the cracked trade in?

I didn't have any trouble, but I ended up opting to repair it first locally so I could get some content off my phone (I was also concerned about potential pushback). I believe the LCD itself needs to be okay and just the glass be cracked. It also needs to be able to power on and be reset to factory default. My USB-C port on it was iffy to the point that I generally used wireless charging for it, but they didn't say anything (I made sure to fully charge it before sending back).

I can tell. The icons look sharper on higher resolutions. I'm looking to upgrade, not downgrade from what I have.

This is a good phone, but I got it new for less than this at Costco 2 years ago. I am trading it in for Z Flip4 as Samsung offers $400 credit for it.
How did you get this phone for less at Costco. I don't recall any nice deals without a trade in

What carrier? It's only $140 for Tmobile through best buy right now.
