No, they will work with other brands but the Washlet+ versions of this seat is designied specifically for the Toto toilets with a hollow channel just beneath the seat that allows you to hide the power cord and the water supply line so if you don't have the Washlet+ version of the toilet than you should just get the regular C5 seat.

Any suggestions on which one is best value for someone that is used to higher end Brondell? Always wanted a toto and current Brondell is over 6 years old and ready for an upgrade

Just scored a local warehouse deal on a regular c5 model for $250 (only one). Never had a bidet before but the other half seems to like it a lot. Seat is very comfortable as well.

No, was have a place that buys returns and such from big stores. He opens up the pallets and sells the stuff off. This was a homedepot return. But it was new and in packaging.

Check your local Facebook. These types stores are around most cities.

Between maintaining sanitization of the wand for feminine wash functions, and helping keep the toilet bowl sanitized with (EWATER) premist, I think EWATER is worth it.

There are models with premist that don't have ewater. If it has premist and ewater, then the premist is ewater'ed, otherwise it's just straight water.

ewater ionizes the water to help sanitize the wand/bowl.

Generally Toto is wholesale only. Though I couldn't get a straight answer from our Toto rep how Costco was selling them. But before I bought this I would call Toto and ask. Thats an expensive seat to buy, especially if it has no warranty.
