Same no coupon for me
I didn't realize you could refill that way, bit at a few bucks a bottle, it's nor bad to buy it. 1 bottle last me well over a month I inagine, and I do all my dishes by hand.
You won't get the apple fragrance but I find it to be overpowering anyway. I prefer the clear version of the real Dawn Powerwash which still has fragrance, but thankfully smells milder.
To add a little:
- Preferably use distilled water
- If you're adding those quantities directly to the empty Powerwash 16-oz. bottle, add the Dawn last to avoid foaming and thus having to wait for the foam to subside.
- Alternative (lazy person's) in-bottle refill (without measuring ounces) is 1 inch of Dawn, 2 Tablespoons of rubbing alcohol, then add distilled water slowly to fill to the top.
Denatured alcohol is the main reason why Dawn works so well to cut grease and stains. She was alcohol strips everything off your hands and leaves it so dry. But Dawn had some additives to leave you hands soft.

Me, too. I'd rather have the 25% on this item.
Your comment got me thinking about how I make Bath and Body Works foaming soap using their shower gel and how it currently works but gets a bit gummed up. After adding a splash of alcohol the soap works so much better and I also benefit from using less soap. So instead of only making 4 bottles of foaming soap with each shower gel bottle I can now make 6.5 bottles. Amazing how the alcohol makes a big difference. So thanks for your comment. Repped
