Reminder that these are refills. You'll need the original head gear that goes on top of these bottles
This stuff is killer. I use on my car wheels and bug/tar remover. It's also great as stain remover for clothes among other things.
I haven't tried this spray version, but I'm a big fan of traditional Dawn detergent for dishes and clothing stains. With 91% 5 star rating and 25% off, I'm in for one to give this a try. Thanks OP!

The foaming pump is fantastic. You get lots of suds direct on your sponge using a fraction of the soap you would use from Dawn liquid. And you can refill the pumps with a 4:1 ratio of water/Dawn liquid.

I didn't realize you could refill that way, bit at a few bucks a bottle, it's nor bad to buy it. 1 bottle last me well over a month I inagine, and I do all my dishes by hand.

It's 13 oz water, 2 oz blue Dawn, and 1 oz rubbing alcohol according to this site [yourbeautyblog.com].

You won't get the apple fragrance but I find it to be overpowering anyway. I prefer the clear version of the real Dawn Powerwash which still has fragrance, but thankfully smells milder.

To add a little:
- Preferably use distilled water
- If you're adding those quantities directly to the empty Powerwash 16-oz. bottle, add the Dawn last to avoid foaming and thus having to wait for the foam to subside.
- Alternative (lazy person's) in-bottle refill (without measuring ounces) is 1 inch of Dawn, 2 Tablespoons of rubbing alcohol, then add distilled water slowly to fill to the top.

Someone once said if you add rubbing alcohol, dawn platinum and water into an empty sprayer it will make and work virtually identical like these at a fraction of the cost. I've tried it and I don't see a difference between the store bought version and the homemade one.

Denatured alcohol is the main reason why Dawn works so well to cut grease and stains. She was alcohol strips everything off your hands and leaves it so dry. But Dawn had some additives to leave you hands soft.
Can confirm, this is what I use to refill mine. some of the recipes online say to add a lot of alcohol but that ends up having the product smell like straight up alcohol. Any recipes you find, I would 1/4th it and test it out, then add more if needed until you get the right scent. But yes it works almost identical but the homemade version doesnt have as many bubbles

yes, alcohol is the key to make it spray!

Your comment got me thinking about how I make Bath and Body Works foaming soap using their shower gel and how it currently works but gets a bit gummed up. After adding a splash of alcohol the soap works so much better and I also benefit from using less soap. So instead of only making 4 bottles of foaming soap with each shower gel bottle I can now make 6.5 bottles. Amazing how the alcohol makes a big difference. So thanks for your comment. Repped
