Looks like Flirc raspberry pi cases are on sale at Amazon. One of the better passive cooling cases you can buy. But not for those who need GPIO access.

If you need to have GPIO access, the pins are hidden under the case, but a GPIO extender cable (or 40-pin IDE cable) will fit through a slot on the case.

CanaKit has stock and backordering available for various Pi4 kits directly through their site. Definitely not the pricing we saw last year, but max size 8gb aluminum chassis kit for $185 ain't too bad

That's actually the pricing that rpi foundation set. That's why there's no price gouging at microcenter and digikey.
They had to raise their prices (roughly 10 dollars)
part of my wishful thinking says the shortage of them is because it's a required item for some grade school class.
that's just kinda wishful thinking that they actually taught kids this stuff en mass.
