This is a fallacy. You assume they're still making these cards, which they aren't. People will buy these cards at this price, like they bought the 6900xt at 700 and the 6800xt at 640. Then they're gone and you'll have a nice opportunity of paying full price for one of the 7000 series card or hope the Nvidia cards (which they've been reluctant to heavily discount so far) don't sell out before they drop the prices to match AMD prices
