Best buy will not price match. I got the 1TB two days ago (paid $73) and it has been working well in my server.

This is prime SSD and good for OS as well as Storage. There are so many comparison to Samsun EVO850 and 860 to this drive, so you are good to use it for data.

If you use good quality (reputed brand) enclosure then it is same as getting Sandisk extreme.

enclosures have a history of not being as reliable and stable as dedicated external drives. i've had OK experience, but i use adapters/enclosures very sparingly (for example, to clean out the drive before sticking it into another pc).

I have used one in a Sabrent enclosure for my games since Xbox One. Since then I have used the same one for my Xbox One games for the Series X. No problems for years.

Good price on the Crucial. But will these get any cheaper by BF? Seems like the NVMe ones are dropping in price faster than these and no cheap DDR6 Video cards either as of yet.

The price only showed in the cart. Even though the pct off was on the product page. I was very upset that BB claims they can't price match. it seems to me that if the original price and the discount are on the main page, it's obvious what the price is. I guess to them it's worth wasting 30 minutes of customer support time to save $9 and make a customer upset. Doesn't seem like a great business practice to me. They will come out behind in the long run.
