I have this mouse for work and it's worked perfect so far. Been a 1.5 months and battery still shows as full. All though the description doesnt say it, you can also adjust the DPI using software. Connects really easily and feels nice in the hand.

I like them better than Logitech - Logitech feels flimsy and cheap and the sound of their clicks drives me up the wall. Microsoft mice sound and feel heftier and better built with more thunk if you're into that kind of thing.

I currently have the Anker ergonomic mouse [amazon.com].

Does anybody have experience with a vertical and horizontal ergonomic mouse? Which one was better?

i still think it's crazy that darkfield came out after bluetrack well over a decade ago [extremetech.com] and microsoft has just never come up with something to compete (then again, neither has anyone else)

edit: best buy also has "open box - excellent"-condition ones for $20.99

Which Logitech mouse did you compare it to? I assume it's one of the MX master models?

I think when it comes to ergonomic mice, everyone may have a different preference based on size of hand etc. I recommend to try it out and see which one suits your hand.

That's said, I just got the Anker as well because it's a vertical mouse. Vertical mice are allegedly better since they replicate the hand shake position and are better for your wrist.

is this true? Is there a significant lag for most daily uses (web browsing, emailing, word processing)?

I don't notice any issue. I suspect sensitivity varies person-to-person.

For me, the issue with Bluetooth is connection reliability. Maybe it's a combination of the device (mouse, usually) and Windows drivers, though I suspect the latter are largely responsible.
