Tempting, but unlock policy pretty sucks. In this case, I interpret the phone will be locked for 24 months - a huge hassle if you want to travel internationally without paying for their crazy high roaming fee.

Sucks for all the people that jumped on the iPhone SE deal. This is a much better value with mmWave, bigger battery, and better cameras.

Yep, which is very expensive if compared to buying an eSIM (only doable if you have an unlocked eSIM capable phone).

Oh wow that's ridiculous? But the normal price for Xfinity mobile is just 15 bucks for a 1 gig line WITHOUT broadband.

Taking this promo means you can't have the regular Xfinity mobile rates???

Why, can't they get onto this deal too? Considering they're already planning to pay for 1gb plan for 24 months, this only adds another line for a few dollars. Makes it much better for them, doesn't it?

Now sitting with iphone SE 2020 and 2022, just ordered 12 mini. I honestly have no idea why I need it but still ordered ..

Indirectly, yes. That is all these rates being discussed like $15+taxes a month for 1gb data - is valid only for existing Xfinity customers (Broadband or cable). If you're not an Xfinity customer already, and want a mobile line, there's a surcharge of $30 a month. That would add up the overall cost of this deal making it $45 a month to have this phone - hence making this cost over $1000 over the course of 24 months - making it a No deal.

FYI. For those curious about Xfinity wireless service be warned. Switched wife and myself a few months back, after 2 weeks of constant sub 1mbps download speeds I decided I had enough. And to be clear this happens in the heart of silicon valley. Phone calls and texting is fine. But apps that use data would not run well.

I am using the 12 mini right now and the battery life isn't as bad as others stated when you have 90% or higher battery health.

This depends on how heavy of a user you are. If you are power hungry user then this isn't a device for you. The iPhone 13 mini will get you another 2hrs at most which does help.

I came from Galaxy Notes before so any iPhone besides the Pro Max is inferior in terms of battery life. This phone is small and compact and that's why I chose it. YouTube battery saving tips. Turning off 5G will help. I have the 256gb one and the 64GB is what cripples this deal.

13 mini really fixed everything that was wrong with the 12 mini. Hope we see this form factor again some day
