Considering SVS charges $2900 for their PB 16, this is a really great deal.

Was going to pounce but it wants to charge me $125 for not having a forklift or loading dock. Any tips for getting around this?

This weighs more than some people at 171 lbs. Best if you have a dolly or at least another person to help you.

If you don't check the box then they are going to charge you extra when they show up and you don't have a forklift to unload.

Has anyone had fedex freight deliver to their residential address and not had an issue?

In what kind of application would you need this much power? I have a Kanto Sub8 which is only 250w peak and I have it at about 30% and it already shakes the entire room

We have a shoulder dolly and my wife and I were able to pretty easily move our m15s, from the deal a few weeks ago, down to the basement. Without that, would have been impossible.

I just had a chat with customer service about forklift/ loading dock, if the customer does not have any they are required to pay $125 to get the Item delivered.

As the other person stated, home theater applications. It's definitely one of those situations where if you're happy with what you have, there no need to upgrade. A sub like this is designed to pressurize your room and give you sub audible bass. I've never personally heard this sub, but I'd be willing to bet it plays cleanly below 20Hz. There are much more knowledgeable people in these forums that can explain what to get for how large a space is.

Back to my original point, though, if you're satisfied with what you have, stay satisfied and don't take a trip down the rabbit hole.

And they used to be $2,500 each for the PB 16 Ultra!
For that $2,900, I'd consider DIY, or PSA, or JTR.
This Monolith is $1,200 less ($2,400 for two less) and bests it across the board, which is why it was created Smilie

This has been on sale frequently. Great value, but most spending this kind of money on subs seem to go DIY. I have a feeling the price will drop even lower in the coming months as they try to move inventory
The 15in Monolith V1 was on sale every so often for $1,100-$1,200. The V1 was discontinued and discounted to $1,000. For its several years on the production line, it stayed the same price since it is priced for value and performance per dollar. I doubt this will go down anytime soon.

This is the last time Monoprice is going to do the 15% off per the sales manager for a good while. It was a promotion and only lasts the weekend.

I didn't have a fork lift and didn't pay the $125. Even if you did have to pay, the $125 extra on top of the price is still a great deal.
