I bought the 15" open box when they had them for $599 shipped.. I would wait for open box it still has the full 5 yr warranty. Obviously, it was a steal at $599 and free shipping.

16" goes slightly lower, dual 15" goes louder. If you have a gigantic room two of the dual 15". If your room is smaller two of the 16" might do ya. Then there are the crazies out there that say you need four or more subs! Two is so much better than one.
