To be clear, the phones posted in this deal are brand new, which is great for people like me who plan to keep and use them, and who don't want to gamble on a refurb.

If you're looking for a device just to trade in for something else, or if you're okay taking chances on a refurbished phone with all the posts about aftermarket parts and conditions varying from like-new to non-functional, they can absolutely be had for less. Here's a link to one for $99:

You are comparing Apples and Oranges: BRAND NEW iPhone XR vs. REFURB. iPhone 11.

Lots of people mentioned that their REFURB. iPhone 11s had 3rd party parts making them ineligible as trade-ins.

I'm curious how the phone is supposed to be unlocked? I got one and activated service but sent it abroad before getting it unlocked, and now I don't know what to do Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

I didnt get new like iphone. I don't think so anybody got new like iphone. Many people mentioned that it has after market screen and good for trade in or back up phone but not like new in any way.

they also have the iphone se (2020) discounted. it has the A13 chip instead of A12 the xr has. but the battery is worse in the se, and of course the smaller screen
