With all do respect, Sony can only sell the PS5 only for so long at MSRP. Market is trending towards a buyers market...just like homes and cars. You'll most likely see a price decrease for Sony PS5 console/PS5 console bundle less $50 MSRP at minimum come the 2022 holiday season. If you can wait, you may win over some savings as we enter the new year. Who knows...Sony may decide to throw out a different PS5 console bundle this Black Friday. Basic ecomonics if you can keep up with global market trends. Kudos to anyone who buys now if you just need to fulfill the PS5 desire...we've all waited for so looong. Who knows what this 2022 Black Friday may bring.

To be fair, the market has indicated that Sony could have priced the PS5 higher if they wanted. It's admirable they haven't been selling consoles at $699+.

Actually, I already bought two of these. One from Sony PlayStation Direct, and this version from Amazon. But a cortisone shot created nerve damage in my hand so couldn't play them.

FYI Sony has decided to increase the price for the PS5 in Europe. Perhaps elsewhere. Perhaps soon here.

Ratchet and Clank is a system seller IMO. The bundled game (Astro Bot) is a legit game as well. Sub 2 second load time rocks

You absolutely won't be seeing a price decrease with a price increase everywhere else and no BF 2022 is still going to be MSRP maybe BF 2023 . You must not know that groups and bots buy up PS5's and wait till they have a large load ( 500 to 10k at a time) to sell overseas. I personally don't understand it because they probably don't get warranty via Sony being wrong region but it is what it is.
