I paid $77.40 in December 2020. Considering inflation, this is a pretty good deal.

Only bad thing to say about this is that synching every night, you need to have this away from any electronics, and it needs to be quiet and have a clear view of the outside.

I wouldn't put much thought into it. It probably only gains or loses a few seconds a month. You might be off a matter a minute or two per year. In that time, you have 365 opportunities to get a signal. At some point, it is going to happen.

This is the perfect example of the difference between people that don't know watches and people that do. I don't care if you've got a Patek, an Omega, a Daytona or Submariner or any other high dollar pedigree or micro brand. Even people with 5 figure watches have a G-shock in their collection. They're undeniably iconic and unbelievably rugged. It's literally everything a watch could functionally need to be, and for that they get due respect from people that know. Everything else a more expensive watch offers, while valid in it's own right, is superfluous.

I bought one of these in 2013 for a similar price. It's a good deal. Yeah, this watch will take a huge amount of abuse. This one actually does a little better than some other models when trying to catch the WWVB signal from Fort Collins. I don't really wear it anymore though. My Amazfit does just about all it can do except the solar battery and ruggedness.

I just received mine, and I got the updated GW-M5610U version. While the product listing is for GWM5610-1, the product photos are for the updated GW-M5610U version. Great price for the 5610U.
