I've been looking for a decent price on an "entry-level" turntable and this seems to fit the bill build-wise.

AT-LP60X-BT doesn't have the counterweight which is a big deal IMO. I've been waiting on this or the AT-LP120X-BT to drop so I just pulled the trigger here. The stylus this has compared to the Audio‑Technica AT‑VM95E stylus in the Monolith 600047 model can be purchased for < $50 anyways.

Really though,lots of folks still have collections and of course many are still enjoying buying records and other physical media for fun.
Like a classic car or film photography vinyl has something unique to offer.
No question in any way shape or form that vinyl is lower fidelity vs contemporary offerings.
None, so forget about that debate.
That said, this seems like a decent turntable for the price and all most people will ever need.
