The Habit makes a damn fine burger for a fast-casual burger place… they're too far away from me now unfortunately. Enjoy one for me please.
Its scam to install the app! There is nothing in promo section and asking for promo code
I second that. Reasonably price for a very high quality burger. If you want cheaper go with In-N-Out, Next level up is Five Guys, but you will have to pay much more.

I love both Habit and In-n-Out but Habit is my overall favorite for burger size, price, variety, friendliness, shorter lines, family bundle prices, and the app makes ordering really easy - with free food promos every so often. We used to get lunch in costume on Halloween and they'd give us free drinks, but I don't know if that's the norm for every location.
Taste-wise, In-n-Out burgers and fries are a mere inch ahead of Habit (maybe because of nostalgia), but that's not enough to get me to stand in line if there's a Habit around. The Habit has delicious sandwiches, salads, and a variety of sides - onion rings, tempura green beans, fries, sweet potato fries, and chicken bites - hopefully as fresh and crispy as my local shop, and shakes, sundaes, and ice cream (the sugar content is pretty high though). I like that they serve unsweetened green tea and "tropical" tea, it has a hint of sweetness without the sugar.
My tip is to order half and half onion rings and fries for nearly the same price of getting one side if you're not splitting two sides with a friend.
For vegetarians, I prefer the Impossible Burger (that's built like their charburgers with an Impossible patty) over the veggie burger mostly because I didn't like the sweet mustard dressing.
The catering truck is cheaper than In-n-Out's catering truck and you can get fries with it. In-n-Out only offers chips.
I keep seeing more Habit locations pop up in Southern California, and when they do, they often give out free charburgers.
To anyone unaware, Habit Burger is owned by parent company of Taco Bell and KFC. Only the Santa Barbara locations remain independent.
Edit: apparently they sold the Sb locations too. As someone who had the burgers from the original location many times, they are not made the same way under new ownership. Do not look, taste or feel as before.
Their burgers are just ok to me but def join their rewards for the free bday burgers. They also have some of the best sweet potato fries and shakes you can get at a fast food chain
They used to make malts, but at least the one near me no longer does. Big mistake on their part, good mistake for my waistline.
Better burger than In-and-Out's homeless person's cardboard bed roll excuse for a patty.
The great thing about In and Out is that the patty is just right in proportion to the other ingredients. I can get an Animal Style single with nothing else and be satiated. Bun is delicious, and you get to do a lot of people watching as you wait 15 minutes for your burger. Prices just went up but they're still reasonable. Decent shakes.
And for more dessert you can play "Where's Waldo" with the packaging to find secret Bible codes!
I went to habbit burger once and it was fine but expensive.
In N Out gets lots of bad rap for being popular but there simply is no better burger for the money than in n out. Better burgers, for sure, but not for the same price.

Don't know why you got down voted. Habit burgers are better and more substantial than In-N-Out and I like the fact that there's more sides to choose from. Onion rings!
Unfortunately I no longer have any near me since I left CA. ☹️
Where is the promo? I downloaded the app and added my phone number to register, first time user of the app and it just says "looks like there aren't any offers available, check back later"
Edi: Nevermind it takes about 15 minutes to receive a text from them saying you received the deal
Don't know. Haven't been to Chick-fil-A for over a decade because they refused to do 4 orders of chicken strips in the drive thru lol. Raising Cane's has never had a problem giving me 30+ strips in a matter of minutes. Chick-fil-A couldn't manage 12
Both of these chicken places are mediocre. Bonchon or Jolibee all day everyday...
