Here are my notes on these picture hanging command strips versions, as I've largely migrating to using command strips (primarily the typical one-piece, but also velcro-type) for anything short of mirrors. I've never had any issues associated with drywall damage, but they're certainly not perfect.

Pros:

The two-piece, Velcro-type command strips like these are the most flexible of all command strips as it relates to positioning. You can be "close enough" when you adhere each strip component, just consider aiming for a placement that won't stick too far to the edge of what you're hanging so that any necessary adjustments don't leave the hanging strips exposed around/behind what you're hanging. Contrast this with one-piece command strips, where you can be pretty random about where you place them on your poster/frame but better nail it once you start adhering things to the wall.

Considerations:

Velcro-type command strips like these don't sit as flush as the wall as the one-piece type. This can work to your advantage when hanging one a wall or other surface that isn't perfectly flat. However, if you're going for a perfectly flush mount these might not be your best option. TBH the solution for completely flush mounts for me remains other traditional wall-mount hangers. But for kids posters, for example, I can't recommend traditional command strips more highly.
Command strips don't have an infinite shelf life. They can dry out (which, admittedly, I've only experienced upon a move to a very dry climate). These days I try to buy no more than I need.

Good luck!

It's questionable. If you live in an area where temperatures break 100F in the summer, your car's interior can get up to 160-170F. Glue not designed for that quickly breaks down and becomes gooey. For $4, it's probably worth giving these a try, and worst case you can still use the rest to hang stuff in your home. 3M makes the sticky pads that have kept my dashcam mounted for years, but it's definitely more robust than these picture hanging strips.

That product ($7 for 4 pads) will hold up to the heat.

Saw as others noted, the black ones are no longer available for the OP's price on amazon, but the ads running on the top of the page for other Command strips included the same product in white for $3.19.
