Wife just went to Wal-Mart (Zip: 08092) and found Scotts Turf Builder Lawn Food, 15,000sq for $1 per bag!!!

An employee nicely told her it was on clearance as it wasn't labeled. They were on pallets outside the store and not sure if any where inside.

Should go without saying that if you live in southern climates where there aren't really seasons for this type of thing that you won't see sales as great as places where lawn stuff is essentially useless for 6-8 months of the year.

This is just fertilizer without additional ingredients (pesticides /herbicides). So it can be stored for quite a few years.
