If you have a recent phone with an eSIM you may want to try to activate it on the TMo network and use both. IOS is pretty flexible to configure dual SIM switching. This will give you the best test scenario.

I was chatting with somebody on Reddit about it a year ago, and he mentioned that the excess credit from KB cancelled some of the balance from EIP. Other than that, no idea.

Thank god it is easy to tell. Just don't take the models with the pill shape on screen. Only potential problem is make sure to take the phone with 128GB only for 14 Plus or 256GB or lower for 14.

With the plan only, it CANNOT make the bill go negative. IE if your bill is $75 monthly and you have 8 Kickback lines that stay under 2GB ($80 credit), it will only zero out the bill. You will not get $5 credit for the bill. My Kickback drops me below my bill most of the time.

I highly doubt there is KB credit to pay off balance of EIP. I can't be 100% sure of that since I have had a positive Credit from a paid off phone and building monthly as it is a positive credit.
Watch plans, Netflix, other add-ons are bill separately and not covered by excess KB. It seems KB only covers voice line bill and nothing else. On a positive note that means I can add another BOGO line and still zero out my bill.

wait, is it true for real? I'm already on magenta max and have an iphone12 pro so I'll get 1000 trade in "without needing to open a new line?????". Heck, I even have an iphone se 2020 and looks like I can get $800 trade in on that one. If that's really true, not sure how this is not a great deal for those who are already on magenta max.

Iphone SE 2020 is $400,, only the 3rd gen from 2022 qualify for $800 trade in
