How long have you been with Comcast?

They're like the farking ghosts in Mario. When you're looking right at them, it's $50 for cable TV. Look away for a second and then look back, and it's $54.33. Look away and look back and it's $61.20...

If you call customer service, they're experience above average call volume and will call you back in approximately 75 minutes.

Not true, home internet still capped 1000gb, $30 extra to remove the cap.

Anyone knows if the tax is included in this $30 unlimited plan? Thanks.
Pretty sure taxes and any other fees are not included since it varies by location.

I have 4 lines sharing a gig. It is showing $45 to upgrade a line to unlimited.

Edit - Looks like I have to upgrade to the new plan first.

I was able to sweet talk a rep in person and get my T-Mobile phone "ported over"... but I could only call, texting didn't work because it didn't have ALL of the right bands. Verizon based systems don't play well with anyone.

Second time I brought my own phone, they flat out refused to activate it because it was "too old and no longer supported"... up until they learned that it was an already existing Xfinity Mobile phone... and then they had to register it as an iphone, then change it over to a Samsung manually in the system.
Thanks! I think I'll try to show up in their store with the phones and just convince them to give a sim to test it right there

Yeah, which means losing $12/gig for those of us grandfathered in.

How are you still paying $12/gig? Xfinity automatically started billing us for $15/gig even though we were originally paying $12/gig and had made no change to the plan.

Xfinity adds taxes and fees that amount to an additional $10ish monthly. Visible is just straight $25 all inclusive.

I'd be AMAZED if anyone ever hit 20 gigs on their "unlimited" plan. I made the switch from AT&T to xfinity mobile several months back. I don't think I ever saw better than 2mbps download speed. The dozen or so times I ran a speed test it was sub 1mbps download with between 5 and 10mbps upload. FYI I saw these speeds from Sacramento to San Francisco to south of San Jose. Higher population towns, lower population towns, didn't matter. The only time I ever had good speed was when I was connected to some sort of actual wiif, meaning I wasn't using the cellular data. Can't even provide a good internet connection in middle of silicon valley...
I gave up after the 3rd month and switched carriers again.
I have to say, its your phone being outdated and missing most of the bands. I have been getting great speed with my iPhone 12 Pro Max, when I was using my iPhone 7 plus when XM launched back in 2017, it was fast too.

I am living in the SF bay area.

This is tempting, way cheaper than tmobile and I believe they remove the data cap limits on your home internet as well, unlimited gigs for home
Can you share more detail around this? I'm currently paying $25 extra a month for unlimited home internet so this could be a huge deal...

Xfinity free wifi spots are every where, and my phone is connected to them automatically. We don't need unlimited data.

I'm using 13 pro max and still can only get 10mpbs with full bar.

I had Verizon before switching to Xfinity Mobile. Even though people say Xfi Mobile uses Verizon towers, I had constant calls drop with Xfi Mobile. Didn't matter where or when, just had calls drop for no reason. Also, the data connection speeds were significantly slower. Couldn't stand it anymore and left Xfi Mobile after about 3 months. I really wanted to like it because it was extremely cheap as an Xfinity Internet customer. Could not be happier to pay more for more reliable service.

I'm in San Francisco Bay Area. Drive all over the bay for work. My family is a mix of iPhone 12's, iPhone 13's, Samsung Galaxy. All had call drop issues.

I disagree. I've been with XM for a few years now and the service is markedly slower than it used to be when I first switched to it, from Verizon. At that time it was identical to Verizon in terms of speed and coverage. Now it is much slower and at times unusable, particularly in more populated areas. There is also no roaming agreement, so in places that I don't have any coverage but other carriers do, I'm just outta luck.

All that being said, it works "good enough" for me to justify keeping it. For what it's worth, I am still on the $12 plan so I don't know if the $15 one is any better. I have an iPhone 12 Pro, so not outdated.

Edit-phone calls work perfectly everywhere there is coverage (99.9% of places), zero drops so it's data that is the issue.
