How long have you been with Comcast?

They're like the farking ghosts in Mario. When you're looking right at them, it's $50 for cable TV. Look away for a second and then look back, and it's $54.33. Look away and look back and it's $61.20...

If you call customer service, they're experience above average call volume and will call you back in approximately 75 minutes.

So your saying if I have (4) shares lines using by the gig (which I do) I can put one of those (4) lines on unlimited and it would only cost $20 for that unlimited line? If so that's a great deal.

Curious about this too. I have 4 lines on shared data but would only want unlimited on two of them. Do I just go into the two lines individually and change those to unlimited, and in doing so, it will automatically change the price? I went to the first line and it said it was $45, so I was afraid to change it, not being sure about the process.
Yes. If you have 4 lines on shared data and wanted unlimited on 2 of them, then your cost would be $40 for the 2 unlimited lines and $15 for 1 GB of shared data for the other 2 lines. Total is $55 + taxes for the 4 lines.

You need to have your account upgraded first. Go to the web and upgrade it in my account. You cannot upgrade plan on the mobile app unless you go to the website on mobile. You can also go to a store or do it thru chat or call.

I have 5 lines. 2 are not used, just ported in for the rebates. But, I left 1 of those 2 on my plan to pay taxes only since it brings my 1 line that I want unlimited to only $20 plus $15 for the other lines that are shared (relatively no data, mostly on wifi). By keeping the 1 line which runs about $3 in taxes, I go from $45 + $15 to $20 + $15. Savings of $25/mo for just changing my plan.

Truly a slick deal for those who use the service. YMMV

Thanks for the response. When you say "You need to have your account upgraded first. Go to the web and upgrade it in my account." does that mean click on the two lines I want to upgrade and choose unlimited for each one? Sorry, dumb question.

Ok so with my (4) lines on shared data currently I would need to switch (2) of those to unlimited correct? I was hoping I could just take (1) of the (4) lines I have now and only be charged $20 for unlimited on that (1) line while while just paying by the gig on the other (3).

I chatted with support last week about this as i have 7 lines on per gig plan and was looking to move one line to unlimited. I was told it would be $45 for one unlimited +15 for per gig for remaining 6 lines + taxes. Did you get your first bill generated?

And what upgrade to new plan? I am on $15 per gig and not $10 or $12 whatever old plan was

Fi is on tmobile priority whereas this is on verizon non priority (extra $20 per line for hd pass which includes priority). With 5 lines on unlimited, I'd go with fi if tmobile is decent. If verizon doesn't have congestion or you can mix and match with per gig then xfinity is reasonable

After your "promo" rates are up, like everybody else, you go back to regular rates. All you have to do is to be creative, call customer service and ask for a better deal. Xfinity mobile have has been giving thousands of dollars in gift cards every few months if you know how to get it.
I'm sure that you can throw some time at them and stay on top of the promos, but that doesn't change the fact that their whole pricing model (like all cable companies) is built around the fact that it's a pain in the ass to switch providers.

Do phones activated with 5G still receive priority data on Xfinity unlimited (same priority as real Verizon customers)? I heard this was the case previously

I am using that just because of remote work & always connected to wifi but if you care about good data speed & better coverage stay away from xfinity in atleast VA/DC & MD region
