How long have you been with Comcast?

They're like the farking ghosts in Mario. When you're looking right at them, it's $50 for cable TV. Look away for a second and then look back, and it's $54.33. Look away and look back and it's $61.20...

If you call customer service, they're experience above average call volume and will call you back in approximately 75 minutes.

Not true, home internet still capped 1000gb, $30 extra to remove the cap.

thanks! Hopefully we will get more info soon on if it will be a visa or 24 payments.

most likely 24 months.

Got this from Samsung $450 off deal:
Device credits applied monthly to your account over 24 months so long as Device Agreement is in effect. If line is canceled, voluntarily or involuntarily or device payments are accelerated, balance of credits associated with device payment are forfeited. Not valid with prior purchases, returns or exchanges.

Thanks! I think I'll try to show up in their store with the phones and just convince them to give a sim to test it right there
I don't think it would work. Not because your phone isn't capable, but because their system is setup to refuse it.

I tried to move my SIM from a Pixel 6 to a Pixel 4 (which I've used with Xfinity in the past). It wouldn't work. I chatted with them to get this reassigned, and it was such a big hassle that I gave up after a while. Still using it with the phone registered with them.

I'd be AMAZED if anyone ever hit 20 gigs on their "unlimited" plan. I made the switch from AT&T to xfinity mobile several months back. I don't think I ever saw better than 2mbps download speed. The dozen or so times I ran a speed test it was sub 1mbps download with between 5 and 10mbps upload. FYI I saw these speeds from Sacramento to San Francisco to south of San Jose. Higher population towns, lower population towns, didn't matter. The only time I ever had good speed was when I was connected to some sort of actual wiif, meaning I wasn't using the cellular data. Can't even provide a good internet connection in middle of silicon valley...
I gave up after the 3rd month and switched carriers again.
i'm also in your area. sometimes i get 900mbps on 5g on my 13 pro. i average around 80-100 on 5g, maybe 20-40 on my 11 pro that's stuck on LTE. i've surpassed the 20gb on my lines twice, and i've only had their services for around 5 months. i try to stop myself from watching videos on mobile data, even though it says 5g doesn't count towards it. it seems like the way they count the data has a lot of issues

If you have 4 shared lines using by the gig and 1 of them is using unlimited, the cost is only $20 for that unlimited line since you have 4 lines total.

So your saying if I have (4) shares lines using by the gig (which I do) I can put one of those (4) lines on unlimited and it would only cost $20 for that unlimited line? If so that's a great deal.
Quote from ji_mestone :
Curious about this too. I have 4 lines on shared data but would only want unlimited on two of them. Do I just go into the two lines individually and change those to unlimited, and in doing so, it will automatically change the price? I went to the first line and it said it was $45, so I was afraid to change it, not being sure about the process.
Quote from FattyMcDonut :
Yes. If you have 4 lines on shared data and wanted unlimited on 2 of them, then your cost would be $40 for the 2 unlimited lines and $15 for 1 GB of shared data for the other 2 lines. Total is $55 + taxes for the 4 lines.
At 4 lines total, the price per unlimited line is $30. It drops to $20 if you have 5+ total lines.

So it's the 5th, 6th, etc lines that drop to $20, right? At least according to their plan builder on their site.

4 lines shared 1GB + 1 unlimited would be $15 + $20 = $35
4 lines shared 1GB + 2 unlimited would be $15 + $20 + $20 = $55
3 lines shared 1GB + 2 unlimited would be $15 + $30 + $20 = $65
2 lines shared 1GB + 2 unlimited would be $15 + $30 + $30 = $75
1 lines shared 1GB + 4 unlimited would be $15 + $30 + $30 + $30 + $20 = $125

Kinda weird, but I guess they figure most people have 5 max lines...and it's a nice little loophole to save money if you got 6+ lines...assuming your taxes and fees are low.

I believe their unlimited plan is deprioritized.

Yeah, I think you've got it exactly right, whereas I wasn't quite there when I posted last. I realized the wording was different for those 5th, 6th, etc., lines just before I saw your reply, and I started to see the nuance. Whereas the $30 pricing applies to "2 lines", "3 lines", and "4 lines", the $20 pricing applies to the "5th line", "6th line", up to "10th line". Without going through the motions to upgrade my plan and confirm the pricing (currently on $12/gig), I believe you are correct with your scenarios, but I see the possibility that the $20 pricing on the 5th line doesn't come into play until one's other 4 lines are also on unlimited at $30. But that's just speculation.

I noticed the pricing seems a bit strange. I have 5 lines total, and I noticed if I have one line unlimited I pay $20 . If I then make a second unlimited, I pay $30 for the second line. It is strange that having just one unlimited is $20, but having two lines unlimited costs $20 for the first line and $30 for the second. With most carriers, as you convert more lines to unlimited , the second line would be cheaper.

I guess when I have only one line be unlimited, I am making my 5th line unlimited which is $20. When I have two lines become unlimited, I am making the 5th and 4th unlimited so the second line (4th line) costs $30?

In summary with the new plan:

4 lines shared 1GB + 1 unlimited would be $15 + $20 = $35
3 lines shared 1GB + 2 unlimited would be $15 + $20 +30= $65

Last year for the iphone 13, they had the 24 montly credits for new lines but if you upgraded an existing line, it was in the form of a visa card. I was really hoping they would do that again but the last few deals they have had including the Samsung one, it looks like they are all 24 months.

Did anyone else notice when the $100 reward for a new purchase disappeared? I was saving to use it but now I see its gone.

Very tempting.. I currently rock TMobile Amplified through CircledIn for ~$35 and the Mrs has Visible. If we do switch, can also get a big discount on our xfinity internet. Hm…

I currently have 5 lines on Xfinity. I pay $140 plus tax or $155 total per month. Coming from a Verizon grandfathered unlimited plan I am saving over $150 a month and have an additional (5 vs 4) line to boot. I have to be honest the service is not as good as Verizon but it is 95% as good for a lot less money. Data is fast but noticeably slower than Verizon. 5G is super fast but not everywhere. Overall for the price it is the best you can get unless you use over 20GB per month. I have WiFi at home so that never happens as I am lucky if I use 5Gb a month. My kids use between 10GB - 15GB a month. For $60 for 2 lines this is a SUPER deal!

then move to per gig plan (hd pass included) or get hd pass add on for unlimited at $20 per line for verizon priority data.

and you might wanna change the plan to new plan. i am not sure what things they have reduced but new one cost $20 per line for 5 lines on unlimited.

No, it seems to be a new plan option they offer for 2+ lines on an account.
