This is the cheapest new item I could find after the Series 8 reveal. Apple has refurbished for $50 less.
After my research, it seems like the S7 and S8 are nearly identical (w/ the exception of a temp sensor used for ovulation detection and crash detection).
A new S8 stainless steel is $799, so this seems like a great deal.

Yeah, I'm not hopeful the price will go down much... Walmart had a different color with very limited in-store stock for a lower price. This is the lowest I can find.
And it does everything I want - only reasons to upgrade are always on display and qwerty.

Titanium is LESS scratch resistant. It's just lighter.
