No, they are literally taking the defective panel, boxing it back up and sending it out to their repair teams hoping that the next customer won't notice. The first panel had a yellow circle about twice the size of a quarter in the middle of the screen. If you only watched dark scenes it might have been harder to notice, but was still very visible. It was so bad even their own tech was laughing at how Samsung could have missed it. The second panel had a black vertical line going down the the left edge. The third panel was bent in the corner and was not even installable, yet the shipping box had no damage to it, so the tech said it came from the factory that way.

The tech said this is pretty much how Samsung does it. Keep in mind I'm taking a day off of work each time they want to attempt a repair with these trash tier panels. Samsung doesn't care about your time or how much you have to keep calling them back to coordinate between their main support team and the service center team because there's no communication between them at all. On top of the repairs, this has absorbed about 20-30 hours of my time (failure to communicate between teams, accidently cancelling or closing tickets out of nowhere, each time calling in to speak to a higher level team you still have to get through the hold times of the lower level teams first, never any callbacks, etc.). You are left to do all the leg work.

They will not exchange the TV if they have no inventory of the same model. Their policy states that they they can only exchange for the same model and that's after 2 repair attempts...except one problem, production of the model stops about half way through the model year, so once inventory runs out towards the end of the year, you won't qualify for a replacement and they won't give you the successor model either.

Then you have to hope and pray that they will give you a refund, which requires an investigation from a different team and takes even more time. This is the stage I'm at right now, I'm not even sure if I'll get one.

This entire "warranty" is beyond anything I've ever seen. This is an expensive TV and they treat you like a nobody, leaving you without a TV for months at a time. They simply do not care. I've never received any warranty support this poor from brands even like Hisense. It really has changed my opinion of Samsung as a brand.

Make sure you inspect your new panel thoroughly when it's installed. Samsung's "warranty" is trash. They will replace it with a refurbished or reconditioned panel, but will present it as new. I found this out the hard way when they came to install a new panel in my 85A (2021), all three replacement panels were defective. Even Samsung's own tech said many of them are refurbished/defective panels. I think they're hoping the next person won't notice the slight defects (mom and pops) so they can save a buck. Absolutely terrible service. I could write a book on the amount of BS they've put me through over the past month.

Bought this TV at Costco a day after labor day for $1,100.00 that included the 5 year warranty <2 with manufacturer and 3 with allstate> and some credit for streaming services. Bright screen and great colors. 120hz variable refresh rate. Only bad thing I hate about it is the tv gets really hot. It's like having a heater turned on. Not sure if it's a defect.

I own one of these exact tvs. I absolutely LOVE it! Works amazing for gaming and the colors are no comparison to a regular tv. Would highly recommend!

That's not true. Samsung TV warranty replacements are done as coupon codes for Samsung's website for the value of the TV. It's literally the same inventory as the website.

The process of getting them to declare it unrepairable is a drag, and coordinating pickup of the old TV is another ordeal, then it takes another week or two for them to process it.

But they don't have separate inventory or process for shipping replacement TV's. They just credit you and make you buy it on their website.

Not sure if it's true for everyone, but on the Samsung EPP site the only size available for QN90 is 98"
All the other sizes seem to have disappeared.
Does this mean they have run out of stock and will not be seeing these anymore ? ( This is bad news for folks waiting on slick-deals on the QN90As, on sizes other than 65")
Or is there hope for some of it to be sold during the holiday season, which seems too good to be true as they would try to push for the QN90Bs.
Posting this to speak a conversation to see what information is floating out there.
Thanks.

I'd assume this means they're out of all the other sizes of that model but I am not positive.

I've been wondering this as well. A lot of people are waiting on QN90A deals for other sizes, but who knows if Samsung is actually producing any more.

Wow thanks OP, I have been searching for a TV and this was one of the models I was keyed in on, feels like a steal at this price.
Best LCD Tv of 2021 and arguably still in 2022. Samsung did a phenomenal job with this set and will become a rare "Gem".
Congratulations on an amazing purchase, this tv will last you many years…….

Every company uses second hand panels, that's the main benefit of buying an expensive warranty through a big box retail as they will literally swap the tv for a new one or equivalent.

I ordered the 50" for $600 deal from Walt's last week and my TV arrived unharmed, but fedex managed to punch two massive holes in both the outer box and the inner box. I could see the panel wrapped in foam from the 2 inch gash they ripped in it. Luckily there was no damage.

FedEx just left it on my doorstep so I couldn't inspect or refuse delivery. The fedex guy probably wouldn't have let me open it up anyways and would have just told me to take it up with corporate. just be aware of the risks when buying a tv online and don't use FedEx. Walt's is reputable though - took them a Few hours to confirm my order but I got my TV in 2 days

Moving to a new place on October. Y'all think it's worth the deal to get now or wait through BF/CM as we are not in a rush.

Not my experience at all. I had my panel replaced quickly with little effort and no issues.
