These absolutely blow me away any time I listen to them. As someone who had always loved loud movies and music, these were perfect. I still find myself just sitting back and listening to music for hours. If you're looking in this price range, I strongly recommend these.

I'm thinking the 580s might be a better fit than the 590s. I just bought the Monolith THX-365t speakers for left and right. I haven't even tried them yet, but I may order the 580s and decide which I like better and return the ones I don't like.

I believe it was fixed pretty quickly. It appeared to be a bug. Added to cart, closed the browser and then returned to see a lower price. Brought the 590s to $240 and a pair of 530s to $200

I think the decision comes down to whether or not you've got a subwoofer. The 590s are going to give you a lot more low end than the 580s will. My subjective opinion is that they sound great at lower volumes as well.

I agree with Randyj's comment. I have two 590's in a small room that is around 10' x 12' and I have them barely turned up at night and they still sound awesome. The compression tweeter on these are pretty amazing! They're very clean sounding.
If you do buy them, then hopefully you won't have to return them because the packing is pretty beefy. If they're like my 590's they will come on a pallet that is completely Saran wrapped. Under the Saran Wrap, are large boxes over the speakers. Inside of the boxes are big pieces of styrofoam around the top, middle, and bottom. Then clear plastic with tape all over the speakers. Lol, it's quite the workout, getting them unpackaged. Also, be careful. For some reason, they ship them with the plastic feet installed onto the speaker so you could break them if you're not careful.
