Same here. Rtings actually did a head to head comparison between this Gigabyte and the C1:

I would consider this if was guaranteed to be $600. Rebates through Newegg have been a crapshoot for me. I've sent in five $15-$20 in the past year. On two of them I got the rebate, one of them responded and claimed I didn't send in the upc code, and on the other two I just never heard anything back.

I moved from a 48" curved Samsung TV to two 32" curved Philips (one 4k, one 1440p) monitors mounted together on one stand. I like the two 32" a LOT more than the single 48" as it is more natural to look left and right rather than up and down. Also, with a 48" monitor, you really want a curved display unless you are sitting really far from the monitor (like 4ft+). I find it hard to go back to a 32" or larger flat display after getting used to curved panels. Just so much easier on the eyes.

Got mine on the 23rd but the box was totally wrecked and taped back. Huge gaping hole among other things. Didn't even open it just sent it back for an exchange!

Got mine on Friday. One side of the box was ripped open and sloppily taped back. But it didn't look like anybody had actually pulled anything out. Looked more like somebody just grabbed it incorrectly when they were moving it.

When I got home and opened it up properly, I was right. Everything was in great shape, not a spec of dust on the monitor.

HDR is pretty mind blowing on this thing. Tried it on Doom Eternal, pretty epic experience.

Downside is its missing some features compared to LG C1, the worst of which it not being full HDMI 2.1 bandwidth, so you would have to run PS5 in 4:2:0 chroma to get 120hz. DP 1.4 is full bandwidth thankfully.

Same. It was showing back order this morning when I ordered, but it shipped today for a Wednesday delivery.

I've got a 65" CX in the living room and it's gaming perfection. It'll be nice to have an OLED in the office too. I would have preferred a 43" C2, but a 48" OLED for $600 is just way too sick to pass up.

My current ultrawide is on an arm, but it's not a strong enough one for this display. I'm going to try the feet, but throwing that arm in an Amazon wishlist just in case. If you think about it, id like to hear how it works for you.
I hear u on 43" Oled. I am replacing a 43" hisense a6H which is going back to costco (90 days on electronics) and it was fine until I viewed some content and played some games on this baby. I will be using this for games and media mostly. No wfh for this guy!

Anyways, No dead pixels or issues, arrived fine, the box intact, and the monitor as well. I set it up on the said arm. Works perfectly fine. The vesa mounting kit did have me worrying a bit..keeping the whole thing aligned but the arm/mount has nice adjustments and ...yea I m happy with how it turned out. I will tweak things this weekend or when I have some time to make sure its in the middle of the table and my 2nd monitor is in the middle of this monitor and so on.

Honestly I am not noticing much difference from the 43 to 48 but I've only had the 43" for like a month or so. 32 to 43 did take some adjustment. My table is about 32" deep and I lean back a bit when playing games and 48 seems like it should be ok. Time will tell.

Just while writing this comment the brightness has adjusted couple times but it just gets easier on the eyes so I don't really mind it. Text clarity seems ok to me but I have the display scaled to 150% right now so thats that. O just got super bright again....o well.

Anyways, feel free to ask any questions if anyone has some.

So it's been awhile since I fill out a rebate form. to make story short, I threw away the box without cutting the upc barcode from the back.
would anyone has their box laying around somewhere? lol

It's really interesting that you posted this. The exact same thing is happening to me. I went from a 38" LG ultrawide, which is pretty much the same dimensions as your Dell, and the same 2300R curve as your dell. I too feel as if the center of the screen is buldging out towards me. I had never considered that it could have been from using a curved display before. I thought it was maybe it was something my glasses (which i've only been using for about 2 months, so still getting used to) were doing in combination with the very large screen size.

Aside from that, everything is indeed perfect. The display is a monster. Honestly, I wish it was a 42", but I think I'll get used to it. I do have an arm coming today, I think that will help, since I can drop it down an inch or so, and also tilt it slightly downward. Otherwise, it's an OLED, and looks as perfect as any other. At $600, it's an insane bargain. And while I've noticed the auto dimming doing some desktop work, only when switching tabs or something... never on a static screen... and it's never been a problem. Just, something I've noticed. I can tell it's not going to bother me.
Sorry that you are going through the same issue. But I'm a bit glad that I'm not the only one... As others have mentioned the ASBL is a little noticeable but doesn't botther me. Text can also be a bit better, but is more than acceptable for the average user imo. I think it's a great deal and compromise for the savings in cost.

Half venting, half reporting in: I ordered on 9/16 and ended up with a 9/23 delivery estimate like many others here but the night of 9/22, there was a rail delay with UPS that got rid of my delivery estimate and replaced it with: "The delivery date will be provided as soon as possible.". It ended up making it to a local hub at 2PM on 9/23 but hasn't updated all of Saturday, Monday and now Tuesday.
I reached out to UPS for advice and they suggested filing a claim/reaching out to the shipper but Newegg won't accept a replacement claim form without a police report and I'm not sure about putting in police paperwork for "My shipment was delayed and I guess I'm still waiting for it but I'm waiting an uncomfortably long time."
I wouldn't be so anxious if it wasn't such decent chunk of change and I'm due to move out of the area in a handful of weeks so I can't just wait for it to possibly eventually arrive...
I'll give it until late Thursday before properly sweating, I guess.

You might be able to get UPS to redirect the package to where you're moving.

Update: Finally got the rebate card. Spent it instantly to pay a bunch of bills in advance!

Damn boys, this has still been cheapest 120hz OLED to date! Not like all these chumps paying $900 for the LG 48gq900-b which is the same panel and HDMI 2.1 spec. And that doesn't have 120hz BFI!
