For others, I've got an Insta360 One X2. It's great, but it's very different from a GoPro. The stitching is impressive, but imperfect. Great for capturing 360 videos for direct upload or for when you want to select the target and convert to a regular video. However, you'll get lens flare as the camera moves, and some artifacts around the edges of the lenses. So, if you want to shoot a video where you're focused on a single thing, a regular GoPro will give superior results.
For anyone curious about 8-bit vs 10-bit and what 10-bit can do for your final product, BH Photo Video made a good explanation: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WNy24_X
Just checked and I do have this Amex offer, and with its forward-facing screen, I may jump on this. Need to first see some reviews about the overheating issue that seems to plague these later models, though.

If you're going to use action cam as intended, you will end up with relatively short clips anyway. There is no need to continuously record for more than 10-15 mins in most situations - especially given the fact that the vast majority of users are terrible at video editing.
The camera wasn't intended for 30 mins video recording under direct sun - majority of DSLRs would overheat in these conditions, plus many have a 30 min recording limit in place.
This is not a vlogging camera, and if you need 30+ continuous footage for vlogging, you're doing it wrong anyway
Edit: Placed an order and looking forward to receiving it.
Although on Amazon it's include.

Note that all prices I mention are with the subscriber discount.
The bundle includes these items:
- $24 - The Handler
- $20 - extra Enduro battery
- $16 - head strap + quick clip
That only adds up to $60 so I certainly wouldn't pay more than an additional $50 for the bundle. If you're in the water, I absolutely recommend The Handler [gopro.com]. Out of the water, The Shorty [gopro.com] ($32) is pretty cool.
I definitely recommend an additional battery, but I'd get the dual battery charger plus two batts [gopro.com] for $48. It's way more convenient than being limited to charging within the GoPro. It should really be included in the bundle.
Note that subscription discount is limited to 10 items per year, so if you really needed a ton of accessories you could hit that limit and I presume the bundle wouldn't count against it, but I think 10 per year is plenty.
