This is a good price for a "meh" but fully serviceable bike - not mountain bike. Surely capable to ride around in city trails, commute etc while focusing at the lowest possible price, just don't try to follow your seasoned MTB friends on single track with this...think of it as "gravel" bike at best.

This is also not a $400 MSRP bike by any stretch of imagination, this is a $120-150 bike, or at least it was pre-pandemic.

Good value for riding around the neighborhood or gifting to a wife or a kid that won't try crazy shit on it.

I've seen this bike. There's a few of them in the endcap bike display. It seemed an odd looking bike at first, that's why I stopped and looked at it. Then I started comparing it with the 26" Schwinn next to it and figured out this 27.5" bike is a 26" bike with a extended seat. Looks kind of dorky IMO, like a low rider bike with long seat pipe.. You might want to look at it first before purchase. The $90-something Roadmaster looked better to me. Just my 2 cents.

I ordered one for my kid. Just got it today. The box was open when it was delivered. I checked and no pedals. Is there anything else that was supposed to be in the box that's missing, so I can reach out to customer care about it?

Edit - Never mind. Saw an earlier comment about the extra being attached to the seat and found them.

What's your location? Are there no walmarts near. I tried to check but it just says to take it back to store. I'm in a metro area with multiple walmarts in close distance so that must be why

I received the second bike I ordered of the ST100 in Small, but once assembled I hear a whistling sound coming from the rear wheel. I undid the brakes to rule that out as an issue and also the crankset as it makes a whistling/squealing sound when the cranks are not moving. I may have to return if I can't sort it but I wonder if they can send me a new one now that the sale is over

Anyone else deal with this? The box was in good condition but it was laying on the side when it was delivered to me.

EDIT: A long ride around the block started to ease the squeal and eventually it went away. Besides the right derrailleur cable being stuck and some adjustments to the fit, things seem ok. Both bikes ordered were roughly we tuned out of the box it seems. Just needs some riding that's all.

I've got 2 Walmarts 5 miles away. There was no return link on my order page. I started a chat with a rep. I wanted FedEx to pick up. They said not available and would instead refund my cost which they did minutes later. I also said I WOULD NOT return in person. Must be picked up.

Got the bike for enjoying the mountain sized potholes of Pittsburgh roads. The bike feels solid, definitely gets the job done for riding locally at the right price. I also purchased the Hurley Cutback Urban the week before and it finally arrived. Between the two I like the solid feel of the decathalon. Con is easily solvable by buying a kickstand.

Trust me. It will get better. Lol. As someone who started riding bikes again after 30 years, your bottom will hurt at first and then get used to it. I have zero issues now after using this schwin seat. I recently had to ride another bike with a less padded seat and I was VERY sore. I was miserable. Got back on my bike a few days later and it was perfect again. Lol.

As I mentioned, a FedEx return was not available. Purchase refunded. They did not want the bike back. Walmart will occasionally refuse returns if it's not cost effective.

is anyone having issues with the gears not syncing?
when i shift gears on mine the pedals just start to freewheel. Not dropping into the gears except for maybe one or two.

Sounds like you need to adjust your front derailleur

This bike has been running pretty well for me. Did some tune-up after watching youtube videos and it has been mostly smooth.
