I'm surprised no one has commented on this. 10% off when you buy the $50 card(s) and no fees or state taxes. That's a great deal. I buy several of the cards almost every time Target does the promotion. Never had a problem. Other things in life should work so easily.

From the AT&T slickdeals post, what I read was, you use a virtual card or a normal card and order the sim. You will only be charged for the sim card today. $300 + tax will be charged the moment you put the sim card and turn on the phone. So, first create an account, load the 300 balance and then put the sim card in the phone. Read through that thread.

Another DP. I just bought 8 $50 T-Mobile cards together in 10 minutes. All of them arrived in my inbox without any issues.

Yea - checkout for new customers looks like it requires payment method that isn't a gift card unfortunately- unless someone knows some way around it that I dont
no the way you buy from the website will auto charge the whole $300 on your credit card.

What phone do you have so I could give you the instruction?

If you have unlock iPhone 11 or later, you can activate it using EID (enter the whole 32 digits), it will give you a new number and account, make sure you select the correct $300 plan (I'm not sure if you could change it later that why, it probably the only time can select the plan), it will not start until you have all the fund. During PIN card payment you can either put random number to get pass that (keep continue when it ask to check number) or enter the real gift card PIN, it will not start but fund do add to your account. Log back in when you set it all up, you'll see it need $300 to start the service, enter PIN one by one on the payment page. Transfer or port your number by contact CS after the service start.

Just buy a SIM if you have any other phone, then enter the SIM instead EID, the process is the same as above.

Any way to replicate this in store (to avoid the 2 card limit) ?
Yes. Just walk into Target and buy them. It's in the weekly sale ad. https://www.target.com/pl/6161276...8490499382

I think these people claiming a "2 card limit" have a 'limited' payment history/profile from Target's perspective. I can understand why buying what are essentially gift cards online in multiple back to back transactions can raise flags in their system.

I've bought multiples many times in the past but I've had my Target account and Redcard for 10+ years.

I don't think there's any pattern. I have had redcard for longer than that and spend quite a bit but still my orders got canceled after 2 cards. I'll go to the store instead.

Where I am confused about is the email/digital delivery part... so the store Rep will have to punch your email ID for delivery. how does it work otherwise ?

I was talking about just buying the physical phone cards that are in the electronics dept. I'm pretty sure you'll still have to do separate transactions though, to get the $5 to come off.

So you saying deal is valid on physical GCs as well ? The link you posted had only eGC's linked to it.

Very often too. Sometimes with 4x fuel points which saves me another 5-10$.

Picked up $200 worth. Just wish I didn't have to do it in 4 separate orders.
