Costco sells a bottle with enough for a year. Well, except Leap Year. Then you must suffer a day of sneezies.
Costco on sale comes out to 3cents per pill. This is 2 cents per pill

I see an additional 25% coupon on the phone tied to this account, but not on the webpage. Might be worth looking for Smilie

I just see the 20% off $50 (select products). Wonder if I used a 25% off coupon on another product. Gotta go hunt it down...

Not as much as Benadryl. 10mg of Zyrtec is on the high end. Stick to 5mg if drowsiness is a concern.

Does different things to dif people. Some get sleepy, others get insomnia, and other yet get crawly skin, etc. Side effects are rare and minimal but I do believe there's withdrawal from stopping after long term use. I've been using it for a long time since to me personally, it's the best compromise out of all the allergy medications I've tried. If you can, consult your doctor and try all the different types to see what works best.

This is generic. Zyrtec is the name brand. Generics being cheaper than the name brands should not be news.

I can confirm that for me at least I decided to stop taking after years of taking it and could not deal with the withdrawal. I thought I was going to scratch the skin I was so itchy.

withdrawal is very rare with long acting antihistamines, so count yourself unique! To avoid you could always go down to a pill every other day for a few doses then stop. stinks that you experienced it.

For those worried about sedation, remember everyone is different. most people are not as sleepy as with benadryl but some people can get the reverse affect. I take my dose at night to avoid and have been taking it for years. Also remember that some of the 2nd generation antihistamines work for some people when others do not. for some reason claritin 24 hr does not last 24hrs for me!
