After waiting to pull the trigger til Monday for only the employer discount to decrease- thereby increasing price to $2507, I was able to get the 2351 last night and free mounting to boot. If you chat with a rep they will give you a free mounting code.

My man! Worked for me $2498 shipped with first responder discount and HANDRAISER code. I'm in IL so the tax a bit higher.
I was offered mounting service by chat rep, but I don't trust those greasy mfs around my gear. I'm particular about that shit and do it myself.
I asked for free slim fit mount in lieu of service, but rep said they don't have a code for that. Delivery date scheduled for10/4. That's earliest available.

This is going to be my next TV after the C model is unveiled. No OLED for me. Can totally understand why people want OLED, but I want no burn in risk. I have had to annoyingly baby my Plasma (still going) and freak out if I come back to a frozen TV screen. Never again will I pay for that gut feeling everytime it happens.

I think they are dumping all the HARDWARE FAILURE TV's. I bet it's just either a refurbished tv with the local dimming hardware fail fixed or will eventually fail at local dimming. Good luck dealing with Samsung's abysmal customer service to get a replacement. Google Samsung Local Dimming Hardware Failure.

Have you lost your mind? These are NEW for sure.

Within a year anything happens you contact Samsung and your local repair facility will send technicians to your home to repair in a couple of days. What's wrong with it?

You might want to chat up customer service again and ask for a price adjustment, because price currently dropped to $2,399.99 without any coupons. (For those that qualify for the employer/student discount anyway.)

Edit: Nevermind, you said shipped, so you obviously got it cheaper than the current price of $2,399.99.

Has anyone gotten these delivered up a flight of stairs? My delivery guys would only deliver it just inside the front door and now I have to figure out how to lug a 153 lb package up a flight of stairs.
