Considering trading my XR. I'm getting $380 for it and I'm not that enthused with the Apple ecosystem after switching from Android last year. It's unlocked though and in excellent condition so would probably fetch a decent amount on FBM or Ebay. Hmm...thoughts? Maybe sell it and get a different Android phone or is this the best value I'll find right now?

I believe it's intentional. It was the same situation during the pre-release trade-in promotion, although the trade-in values were smaller. Back then, my Pixel 3 XL was worth significantly less than a Pixel 3A XL and the S10 was also worth significantly less than the S10e.

You can, but Google takes forever with the trade in so your return period is going to be long expired by the time the value comes out. Happened to me and many others. Don't think it's intentional, but Google just sucks at doing trade in in timely fashion.

Google Store only. If you have 2TB plan for two month though, they give you other benefits like $5 Play Store and whatnot.

Yea, Google is weird with their trade-in values, but I don't think it's a glitch based on the previous trade-in threads.

I used my credit on this phone order(received credit from a 6a pre-order) They apply your credit 30 days after your order. The credit can be used for phones, charger, cases, smart speakers...
Pretty much whatever else is on sale in the Google store. The credit is valid for 1 year.

Depends. I have a T-Mo variant and some bands are missing compared to the unlocked version (which is a reason why I am considering the Pixel 6a). Also, I don't know how accurate is the benchmark here, but the Google Tensor processor seems to massacre the Snapdragon 765g processor.

I've done it twice with old iPhone 8s that my kids used to use. The first - no cracks and worked $280, the second cracked and worked - offered $252 but paid me $280 anyway. Now the trade in is $385 for the last iPhone 8 I have laying around. That would make 90+tax to turn a doorstop into something useful....
