Officially, 45 days. More liberal leeway with BB-purchased sim kits. For general sales, you're probably safe.

Could you port one number out of Google voice and the other number back in to Google voice and switch around each time?

Purchased two - ive been lucky before about them activating past 90 days and dont want things to get down to the wire when the 3 months comes close to expiring, especially since I probably won't have my work phone to hotspot off of anymore.

FYI - last year's late august/september purchases converted into the buy 3 get 3 free deal - so my plan ended up expiring in Feb instead of November although it was only a 3 month deal when initially purchased. Check my post history for more info if needed.

YMMV, but I purchased a 4GB for 3 month plan for $45 from Best Buy a few weeks ago and when I activated the sim, it gave me 6 months for $45. I didn't see it advertised so YMMV.

I believe that you can though there is a one time port charge on Google side. However you do not need to. I have been using ONLY my Google voice number for over 10 years now using multiple carriers. If you have a Google voice number you simply ignore the carrier numbers. As an added bonus I can make and receive calls, texts, voicemails, etc from any and every device capable of running the Google voice app (my tablets, fire tvs, old phones without service on wifi, computers, etc.)
