    I have the s7 maxv, and paid considerably more than this. My old Neato was working fine, but I wanted newer features that this vac provides. I just wanted to chime in and state, that even at the much higher price I paid, this vacuum is one of the top 3 purchases I have ever made for my house, might even be number 1. It works amazingly well.

    I understand this is a different model, but I got the 7 MaxV Ultra recently and it is a freaking life changer. I have wood floors and a little bit of carpet with a husky, golden retriever, 3 cats, 2 kids, and a shedding wife this thing is a god send.

    But it's still time you DON'T have to vacuum yourself, even if you can do it faster it literally frees up that time. Best time to run it is when you're at work or out running errands or whatever, which also kinda negates the noise. But even with the noise, when is a regular vacuum ever quiet?

    I can understand some, even most, complaints but this one is a bit strange.

    That's used like new, but I do agree that the Roborock S6 MaxV is amazing. I have literally bought this 4 times. Once when it first came out and 3 times for others as housewarming presents. I run mine 3 times a day. Once at 10 am after everyone leaves the house so can clean the whole house, again at 9pm after dinner when people are done making messes, and again at 4 am for a deep clean at the common areas. It never takes more than 1.5 hours each time. I've just past 700k sq ft cleaned. Also waiting for the S7 Maxv Ultra to go on sale.

    I have the S7+ and I wish I had spent the extra money on the S7 MaxV. Mine always gets caught with dog toys, while my gf's MaxV avoids them and goes around them. It's a pretty big difference.

    I ordered 1. Got it fast. Could get it to connect to my unifi APs

    Called support. Even tried the other app MI home. Setup a dedicated WiFi on 2.4ghz band just for it as tech support recommended.

    They wanted me to send it in for warrnty..warranty... I laughed said no and am returning it.

    They have serious network issues and limitations.


    Crazy it's a $1000 vacuumed and doesn't support 5ghz networks or passwords with any special characters.

    Most of the IOT-enabled devices I've encountered only work with 2.4Ghz regardless of price range.
