i5-1155G7 is in lots and lots of currently sold laptops so how exactly it is lacking processing power compared to current lineup?

This is incorrect at least for the item shown in this listing. This eBay refurbished HP 17 inch laptop I bought 2-3 months ago (when the same deal came) and all I did is install the NVMe M.2 drive and it's blazing fast now. The 1 TB HDD that came with this, is still in the laptop and it's noisy and gets super hot (Toshiba HDD) and I will upgrade that later to SSD 2.5 SATA. The laptop is 100% brand new and no trace of any refurbished or blemishes, it's 100% factory new. Screen is bright and good but I have my old monitor casted. Go for it.

Old old are these? Do they have new batteries?
Yes I have this laptop (bought 2-3 months ago when this deal came first) this laptop has lithium battery inside connected to motherboard. No external battery. Large lithium battery.

I dont like that they gave the up and down arrows only half the height of other keys. Its bad design and those keys are used so often at least by me. I dont know why designers do stupid things like this.

Pretty good price but the original price is a stretch.

Would be all over this if it had charging/PD over USB-C. The search continues.

Yes I bought this same laptop and it has NVMe M.2 empty slot and I used my old NVMe M.2 in it and it worked straight. The 1 TB HDD that comes in this laptop is TOSHIBA brand it gets extremely hot which I can feel below the keyboard, so you plan to use NVMe + SSD 2.5 SATA too. I used Macrium Reflect free tool to clone the HDD OS partition to the NVMe I had and it works great.

This laptop is 100% brand new (tho it says refurbished), I have photos of inside motherboard but do not know how to upload here.

The laptop back side has Win 10 serial key, I upgraded to Win 11 and it works fine and super fast.
You can upload the photos to imgur and post the link here.

I believe the point is that this might be low ppi/low pixel density?

Someone might actually prefer it since the text would appear larger and easier to read.

This is a refurb price, at the original MSRP it would be quite possible to have a higher resolution display.
