These need a ton of power. Be sure to have a powerful amp to drive these. With SA-1 at stock tuning, these sounded fairly decent and easily a step up from Sundaras. I reckon an even more powerful amp would make them really sing. If you got the amp part sorted out, I'd think you're getting a lot of bang for your buck.
QC and build quality was lacking. One pad was fine, but the other had poor stitching that made me think it wouldn't last very long. Pads could've been cause of channel imbalance.
These aren't very comfortable. Very heavy causing both hotspots on the top of my head and causing my ears to get sore. Sundaras were more comfortable, and I personally do not consider Sundaras to be very comfortable.
I would say one quadrillion dollars 💰with a 99.999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999% off coupon code.

Zen Stack - sounds pretty damn good (air dac and air can).
Hifiman EF400 - Was like a match made in heaven?
Ifi iDSD Signature - Bliss
Topping DX1 w/ Liquid Spark - Gets the job done, not too shabby.
Monoprice THX 788 - Excellent, little on the clinical side
Douk U3 + Topping D10s stack - Same as the THX 788, which is inherited from the Topping D10s DAC.
Douk U3 + Zen Dac air stack - Pretty damn good.
Douk U3 + Topping DX1 - *Chefs kiss* perfect.
Apple Dongle - lol, no.
Creative GC7 - Mediocre.
Creative G6 - Was better than the GC7, sounded pretty good but had to give her everything she's got for volume.
Asgard 3 w/ DX1 stack - Pretty damn good
Topping DX3 Pro+ - Boring, move on.
Topping DX1 - Wasn't bad on its own but was better with an amp
Ifi Zen DAC air - Same as Topping DX1
Dragonfly Red - Nope
On-board Realtek on my Alienware - Horrible horrible aids, absolutely terrible.
I'm sure I got some more schiit magni 2 amps laying around here somewhere but I imagine Magni 3+ would be a great fit.
Otherwise good luck driving the HE6se v2, though the EF400 DAC/AMP combo could bail you out, that's an extra $599 expense though.
Should be, yes. Impedance of 50 Ohms is a bit higher than alot of consumer oriented model headphones, but it's still well below most studio/reference oriented headphones that can range from 90-250 Ohms. I would think virtually any external DAC/Amp should be sufficient to provide enough power to drive these.
